So afraid that you'll resent my texts...
So afraid that you'll see me as an irritation...
I know it's over.
I know it.
I need time...
On a side note, I didn't do anything productive today. Sigh.

The Loft Cafe + Le Chocolat
Hello there!
So I met a bunch of great people on Friday, Annlyn, Alexa and Shi Jie!
It's been ages since I saw Annlyn and even more so for Alexa and Shi Jie. Haha so yea we went to The Loft Cafe. It's a cute little cafe at Chinatown, along South Bridge Road. It's quite easy to locate, just opposite Ann Siang Hill :)
Jie left for a 2 week Korea trip yesterday. Cue loneliness... :(
Truth be told, I miss you like hell.

I've never seen such nice handwriting on chalkboard haha! :D
My breakfast platter. $16.80, totally worth it! But I'm not a fan of yogurt and muesli (the thing in the middle) and the toast (which I suspect is panini) is SUPER HARD, didn't touch those.
Alexa's Short Stack with Cinammon Apple. Not bad!
Annlyn's Farmer Omelet. Not bad too! But I'd rather pay a couple of dollars more for the platter, see.
Quite a nice place, nicely furnished, nicely decorated. Compared to STRICTLY PANCAKES, this place is like a mansion. Lol ok maybe not a mansion but you catch my drift.
All in all, it's a nice place to hang out and have pancakes/waffles. My platter was nice, not awesome but satisfactory! I'm definitely going back for the pancakes and waffles and maybe try their pasta? :)
I think if you're considering going to Strictly Pancakes, why not try this place instead?
Alright you must be thinking ok the post is ending but NOPEEE.
After our dinner we wandered into Ann Siang Hill and Annlyn fell in love with that place but yep, that's beside the point. We found a place for dessert! Although I was super bloated from my platter, well you know what they always say, there's always room for DESSERTS.
So we chose Le Chocolat Cafe by the Club Hotel, mainly because the prices are less steep and there are less Angmohs, not that I dislike Angmohs but they were drinking and smoking...
Here's my Molten Lava Cake! SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I was expecting some real chocolaty goodness to ooze out when I cut into it but NOPE, just...dough. :(
Shi Jie's Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream! Alright, it looks super good, tastes super good. But it's really jelat (eat a lot will get sick).
Alexa's Coco Berry drink. :)
I can't have dessert without some English Breakfast Tea, also known as Teh-O. I mean I need the tea to "wash away" the sweetness. Not a sweet dessert fan here but I do have cravings sometimes. :)
And lastly, a poorly taken photo of us!
Yep, but nevertheless, I had a great time with these three. :x
Oh before I go, isn't this a pretty dress!
And here's Tyki in case you missed her! Peekaboo! Ok maybe not, her eye looks fierce.
Truth be told, I miss you like hell.

wOnderlust
I hope it doesn't take a break up to make me cherish my friends.
Sometimes I wonder if I neglect them...
Some friends, are just there for you all the time.
Some come and go.
I wonder how many of my friends have already left without me really knowing.
Friends I used to be so close to, now we can't talk without feeling awkward, without feeling that we are no longer close.
But really, I've always been the type to stay at home all day instead of running out... lazy to go out instead of unwilling to.
I wonder if it matters...
Then again, if I matter to them, they will come looking for me right? It's a two way thing, right? Or is it just an excuse...
And I'm kinda scared that they will feel that I'm looking for them just because I just lost something important...
I really don't need to be thinking about this now... :(

Loss
It's the second time I've been through this...and these few days, I've cried enough, it's time to strengthen up.
Looking back on what we had, the 8 months plus relationship was really filled with ups and downs. I can only regret on my part for taking you for granted too many a times and perhaps that led to the end of us...inevitably.
Yet I wished that you fought harder for us, instead of the way it ended, I wished we tried harder.
Then again, words are easier than actions, maybe if I was in your position (tired and needing a break), I would have done the same?
I'm not gonna be cliche and start saying stuff like "thanks for the memories", etc, like I would back when I was...14? But I'll really like to thank you for treating me like a princess for the 8 months, giving in to me every now and then, taking great care of me, and many countless things that make my heart ache when I think about them now.
I'm glad there's no third person involved...because it might make me lose my trust in men forever because you're so decent...
But I can't help but wished we had something more because although our personalities may clash sometimes, you being the boring woodblock and me wanting to have more fun while I'm young, I see chemistry in us. This little world we formed for ourselves, saying things that only we will laugh about, the lingos...they seem so far away now! If only I had the will to turn back time, I would make changes, make sure the spark never went away, make sure our quarrels are only for the best reasons and that we make up immediately with a kiss.
But that's impossible.
Time to come back to reality.
I understand that you did what you deemed fit, and it was for the better for both of us. You said you weren't mature enough for this relationship, but you are, you really are. Your next girl will be so lucky to have you, trust me. :)
For now, we go back to being just friends...I wonder if fate will bring us back together again. Till then, I'll give you a break, like what you wanted, stop pestering you before I get too irritating and pathetic.
Goodbye, B.
PS: Here's something which made me smile. If you're feeling down or something, it might do the same for you!

Cosy time
So we're required to do a restaurant review for one of our assignments and I went to Tea Cosy with the girls, Rachel, Li Lian and Yanqi!
It's located at Plaza Singapura, right beside Spotlight. Easily overlooked as a shop selling ornaments and stuff!
Decos on the wall. All of which are on sale!
General layout of the restaurant. Quite true to its name - cosy.
Yanqi and I~
Tea served in BEAUTIFUL tea cup and plate but ugly tea pot.
Mushroom soup.
Baked mushroom, overrated!
My steak.
Rachel's portobello wrapped in bacon!!! Y DID I CHOOSE STEAK...
Some ornaments for sale.
Creme brulee for dessert! Not a fannn!
Chit-chat session with the girls for like 1 hours plus. The food wasn't awesome, but the company was!
A collage made by lily!
Till then.
