ZATAAAA!!!

ZATA stands for Zhiting, Angie, Taffy & Agatha in case you're wondering. Well it's not hard to figure out heh.
We went to City Plaza to hunt for treasures! There's this shop where you can buy 12 different pcs of clothing for 50% off the total bill. Initially we thought it was 12 pc for $100 but meh, not a bad deal.
But I'm already broke after buying a top and a dress so I didn't really buy much in the 12 pc but at the last moment I bought a high waist denim jeans! Whoo! Damn tight though, need to lose some weight before I can look nice in it.
I'm sorry I forgot the shop name but it's somewhere around level 3(?). Good deal but their attitude can't be more sucky, sad to say.
Alright pictures here!
My girls! :)

Alright, thats about it! The chalet pictures are not uploaded yet :/

PS: I need a haircut. :(

Galaxy

I feel so loved today because Mum gave me $100 for shopping and B shopped with me for the whole day!

I know how guys hate to shop with their girlfriends, like holding their bags and waiting outside the fitting room, bored...
I'm sure B felt bored at some point today but still grateful for his company. And he won't just entertain me when I ask for his opinions but really tell me his genuine thoughts about how I looked and stuff. Love you.

Mann, I forgot what I wanted to post. My memory's been really lousy these days.

Went out with B today.
Bought materials from Made With Love to make his Christmas present (which I hope will turn out fine).

It'll be made with love for sure! ^^

PS: Tyki just stepped on the expensive paper D':

Update

Hi.
I created a lock screen wallpaper for myself today... to keep away those people who touch my phone without permission.

Anyway! Today marks the first and last day of Mid-sems. Yes I only have one paper and it's term break! Whooo. Went for a sushi buffet celebration with the usuals after the paper.

Meeting B tmr, can't wait! But we're running out of places to go already. Emotional...any kind souls with good suggestions?

On a side note, Christmas is around the corner so I foresee a huge hole forming in my pocket. Plus I don't know what to get for Christmas gifts. The season of giving sure gives headaches!

This term break will be busy for sure. Meet ups with old friends (keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be awkward :( ), getting our projects done, etc. I don't really like term breaks actually, because it isn't exactly relaxing. I can't have fun with the projects weighing me down! But then again, I guess everyone needs a break for now.

Paranoia

If paranoia is a kind of insecurity, I swear I'll be the most insecure person ever.
A simple comment on a facebook status or a tweet can get my mind working all night. The first thought that comes to my head will be: "Is it talking about me?"
Even if that person is someone I couldn't care less about, I still can't help it. I'm programmed like this.
Born this way. It's not that I'm thick-skinned and think that the whole world revolves around me, it's just how my brain works...

I hate my paranoid self. And hate is merely an understatement. Can't remember how many times I wished to be less paranoid so that I can give myself a break. It really doesn't feel good.
The worst part is whenever I feel paranoid, I don't really tell people about it much because again, I'm paranoid that they might think I'm being lame or "just being paranoid again".

Besides this, I'm really self conscious. Whenever I make decisions, the first thought that comes to me will be "What will people think of me?"
Like clothes, bags, hairstyle, etc especially. These things give me so much headache. I wish I could be like those cool girls out there who wouldn't give two fucks about what people think of them.

I think it's only then that I can be truly happy and worry-free.

Helpless

I LOST MY THUMBDRIVE. FUCK.

Anyone saw a small little green pouch with an elephant please let me know!
My thumbdrive's inside. :( It's a small pink sony one. 4GB if I'm not wrong.
Folders inside are "Ting" and "Tyki".

Walking Dead

I believe every HTM student now is a walker.

OMG, damn tired! Finally completed my final individual assignment, thank god.
And it's not done, I have accounting test on next Monday, which I've just realised I only have like 4 days to revise. Helpppp
But yea, I know everyone's going through the same thing and JC kidz prolly have it worse than us so yea, still glad that I chose poly and HTM. Not whining. :)

So I'm trying the updated blogger now, and it's really quite complicated but somehow it seems nicer. And I get to track my page views! Hehe, just realised my page views count is not one per day (from bev). I can even check where my traffic sources are. Cool shiat.

Right, now I'm waiting for my SafeAssign report to come out. Need to print and attach to the hardcopy of my report. Seriously...damn lehcheh.
I wish the student guides can be clearer about what is required. It's so tiring to have to make amendments to our assignments a few days prior to submission date.

And ouch, backache from sitting at the computer for too long. :(

2 Down

Hello there.

Can't believe I finished two of my assigments during the weekend. But it didn't come easy; slept at 5am last night and I can barely keep my eyes opened now!

Man, everytime I blog I feel like I'm talking to myself and maybe bev (my only reader).

Refresh

Hey, how you doin'?

Currently rushing my culture project, then I'll get started on my TTB then finally CSIT.
So drained from the zoo field trip earlier on that I'm kind of brain-dead now.
So here I am, side track abit and I'll get back on my assignments!

Talking to b on msn never fails to cheer me up.
Sigh why are you so humorous. And why do you think you can't make me as happy as others could?

Silly boi.

Anyway, since I'm here, might as well blog a little about the zoo trip.
It's actually a back-of-the-house field trip where we can see the animal hospital and animal food preparation locations and stuff. Quite disappointing actually? Because we paid like $23 and we didn't really get much exposure to the actual process of both the animals getting treated and fed. Not that I'll be interested to see some cute cuddly animal getting operated on but hey! I'll like to see how their food is being prepared!

Ok, some pictures for you.

Candid shot of us doing Cy's signature pose. Jo got it tho.

Ma gurlz~

Here's bev for you.

And the famous White Tiger!

TADAHHHH! RAWR~

Just kidding, the real one's below.
But the Elephant Parade Festival thing is really cute! Many different painted elephants...you can actually see another one in the background.

My expression now when I think of all the projects and assignments. ^
SINGAPORE ZOO, Y U NO BENGAL TIGERS?! So much prettier in my opinion.

Oh we went to this animal hospital information center place and there were specimens of fetus of aborted animals!! This is actually a hedgehog. Although its aborted it still looks really cute.

HAHA, I told him to give me a scared face and this is what I got. ^

And here's me with another painted Elephant. Pink this time, so cute. I look really weird btw dang :(

Alright, that's all for now, till then!

Double Spout@Heartland Mall

Hey!

Went for breakfast at Double Spout, Heartland Mall just now.
The food was okay but the service sucks to the max.

So we approached the guy at the counter and he just showed us this small menu with the breakfast sets. So my sister asked if we need to order immediately so he was like "ya".
Then he changed his mind and decided we can take our time. So he asked us to take a seat (not showing us to our seats but asking us to walk into the small 'cafe' by ourselves).
Right, so after awhile he took our order and came back with my sis' tea and my coffee. Both with only one packet of sugar and no creamer AT ALL. I mean, which f&b outlet doesn't serve coffee/tea with creamer?! And are they so health conscious that they only give us a pack of sugar?
So I asked the guy again for creamer.
Me: Excuse me...
Guy: What you want? (in the pinoy accent)

I was super put off by this. "What you want?" seriously?! Whatever happened to "Yes, what can I get for you?"

So eventually I got my creamer and got my coffee done the way I like it. Then the food came. My set has scrambled eggs. But hey! No pepper/salt provided. Cmon, I paid $12.90 for this and I can't even get basic condiments? Decided that I was too lazy to ask for them so I just ate my scrambled eggs w/o pepper :(

My sister started to butter her toast. They provided those packet butter, it was fine, only that the butter was so hard we couldn't even spread it properly on the toast. Whuttt. I wonder if they keep their butter in the freezer. :/
Then the pinoy guy decided to be nice and asked if we need help to melt our butter. Why the sudden nice gesture?
After some observation, we found out that the "boss" is here so his service improved in split seconds.
We're not impressed with the "service recovery" at all. It's not even sincere and true? And believe me I'm not being bias just because he's pinoy. I've known of some of them who offer good service.

Basically, they don't know much about service. My sis and I both felt that if they want to survive at a neighbourhood shopping mall with such prices and the small space and limited seats, the best they can do is offer better service.

Look at my desktop wallpaper.
Haha. Just want to be happy always.

Faith

Hi.
My life's been a real bore thanks to school. How's yours?
No, I won't be writing about school today. Been whining too much about school and getting nothing done. So it's time to shut up and get into action. Maybe I'll make a checklist of alllll the assignments for this semester so that I'll be motivated to complete them?

Oakham Market tmr with B, hope I'll get some nice stuff *wriggle eyebrows*
Oh and pay will be in tomorrow, another $200+ into my bank. Cool.
But next month I'll be a poor kid again. Didn't work at marmalade or help out at papa's so yea...surviving solely on allowance!

What do you do, when a house isn't quite a home anymore?
B's been encouraging me to hang in there and just bear with it. I'm not being unfilial, but I just don't feel like I belong here anymore.

On a side note, B, don't lose faith in us.
Even if we did fail in the end, we'll know that we've tried to make this work, that's what we agreed on before we got into this, no?
Anyway, I'm pretty sure we can make it through, cause you're special. :)

Alright, I'm off.

Selling! Calvin Klein Undies

Hey! I got these pretty panties from Gmarket but am too fat for them. So I was wondering if anyone wants them.
Got them at only $3.80 so I'm selling at $3.80.
Fake ones of course, but definitely brand new and still in their package.
Click "Ask" under my profile to mail me if you're interested! Here are the colours I have:

Gold + Black

Silver + Purple

Still in their packages!

Size: L (26-28 inch)

I think it'll be pretty and comfy for people who are skinny. So sad I can't wear them. :'(

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

HEY I'M BACK AGAIN!
As promised, I'll be blogging about the short stay I had at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.
As most of you would know, my sister works at Four Seasons Hotel and so part of her training programme was to stay at the hotel for one night and basically get herself to familiarise with the operations there.
So she was entitled to dinner at the restaurant, One Ninety, free breakfast room service and lunch at this Chinese restaurant also located in Four Seasons, Jiang-Nan Chun.

So we checked in at around 3 in the afternoon. Here's the beautiful main lobby.

And here's our room! It was huge compared to any other hotels I've ever stayed before.

The view from our room. Not exactly beautiful but yea.

The huge toilet!

Haha, they actually have another toilet bowl to let you wash up after your business. And it's opposite the one you poo in so yea you can actually poo and contemplate if you wanna use it or not. Well if you really want to know, I didn't use it.

Dinner at One Ninety restaurant!

Alaskan King Crab Salad
with mango & avacado

Grilled Hokkaido Scallops
with spanish chorizo, smoked paprika

Grilled Atlantic Sea Bass
with kalamata olives, garden vegetables
san marzano tomato salsa

Australian Beef Tenderloin
with watercress and mashed potato

(THE POTATO WAS SEX)

The sauces that came with my beef tenderloin. Yum.

Went back to our room to this! Amenities sent by my sister's colleague. My favourite nougart!!

The next day we had in-room breakfast. It was awesomeeeee but I was too full from last night to be able to fully enjoy my American breakfast. :(

Here's a picture of it. :)

Sister ordered Japanese breakfast.

Cozy under the blankeyyyy. Watching HIMYM and texting B. :)

And look how round my face became after one night!

Yea. Imagine we even went for dim sum later at lunch time. Hate to say this but really "fat die me".
Haha, I nvr really get why people can feel comfortable saying something so directly translated but I guess there's no better phrase for it.

PS: Regarding the food at One Ninety, some were great, some, not so. I'm not a professional so I thought I wouldn't comment on the taste.

Bittersweet

So I've been down with food poisoning for the past few days and it was truly HELL.
I can't eat anything without feeling nauseated and I can't sleep well with the constant need to rush to the toilet before my liquid poo gets out. Sigh.

Thank god I have the boy, he's been the sweetest.

I hope I'll be well again and will be able to eat like I used to. If not I won't be able to enjoy the weekend. My sister's bringing me to the hotel she works at for a 2D1N stay woohoo! It's like a mini getaway. I know I know, I'll still be in Singapore but hey, Four Seasons Hotel! :D

Aight aight, I need to get to work soon. But Olive's down, just when I'm all hyped to start on my individual presentation. Mann, so many individual assignments this sem, please let us get through them. :(

Short one

Look at my desktop!!!! Awww tyki. With her around I don't have to be afraid of cockroaches or weird insects in the house because they avoid coming here now.
